Close but no cigar

New semester, new students! New hilarious naming mishaps.


Due to my weird schedule and classes being cancelled, though we've all been teaching for 2 1/2 weeks I finally taught the 1.1 students (all male, high school freshmen, super-rowdy, low-level) for the first time. However, I think that they've been talking to the other classes about me, because when I asked them what my name was, there were many guesses, a few of which were actually pretty close, but then as one collective mind all decided on an answer.

Apparently they think that my name is "Animal."
